I just wanted to address the recent reintroduction of mandatory masks in UK stores.
The safety and wellbeing of my staff and customers is paramount to me, however reflecting on events from the last time this was introduced I have decided to make the below changes to our store mask policy.
1, Our staff will be wearing masks and face shields and this can make verbal communication difficult. So please bare with us and let is know if we need to repeat anything.
2, Any customers that come into the store without a mask will be asked politely one time to put their mask on as this will maximise the effectiveness of masks within the store.
However my staff have been briefed that this is a courtesy request and should the customer decline no further requests will be made.
I have chosen to implement this policy to help protect my staff and customers from unnecessary customer confrontations while also acknowledging the government’s guideline.
We always love to meet our customers when you visit us in our store and we understand that this is a difficult time for everyone, however I would like to ask that our customers give us a little but of patience while we get through this difficult time.
