Surviving Corvid, News update and cool stuff to come.

HI Guys,

I know it’s been a while since our last blog and I wanted to just give you all an update on what’s happening with Composite Games.

Firstly we have the misfortune of been hit by the coronavirus pandemic and several of our staff had to isolate which subsequently caused disruptions with our events, orders and most importantly our customers.

Were sorry about this and I am pleased to report that now our full team is back we are ready to get things back up to speed as soon as possible.

So what’s next?

We’ll now that we have our gaming spaces ready and were looking to start a Warhammer 40k campaign over the next few weeks so if you have a Warhammer 40k army and would like the chance to win some cool Games Workshop goodies then contact us online or pop in the shop and well get you added to the roster of players.

On the subject of campaigns we now have our own gaming community on Facebook and we are encouraging players to post the games that they would like to play in store, this can be anything within reason such as Star Wars Armada or Vampire the Masquerade.

In addition players that arrange games in the shop won’t be charged a table fee.

You can find our gaming page by following the below link.

In addition to getting the store ready for our customers we have also been developing our own board games that we will be looking to release over the next twelve months.

Our first game subtlety titles “The Bomb Game” is being developed with assistance from the Sheffield Hallam University and we will be looking to have a selection of Prototypes for people to play and purchase in time for Christmas.

We will be posting more details about this shortly.

Finally we are also looking at bringing some special items into stock.

The first of which will be a selection of collapsible dice trays which will help avoid the loss of your dice during hectic games of D&D or Warhammer.

Secondly we are also in talks to stock copies of The Gorgon’s Loch game which has been produced by Fantastic Games following a successful Kickstarter campaign.

And finally we have had a lot of interest in the Mantic range of games and products so we are pleased to advise that we will be holding a selection of Mantic items in store with the option of on demand items if required.

We have a lot to say about the above news, however they will need their own posts which will follow shortly.

I just wanted to end with a huge thank you to our customers who have either subscribed, attended our events or made purchases from us.

Your support means the world to us and we look forward to inviting more of you into our store in coming months.

Take Care

Craig
