We hope that you are all looking forward to the upcoming festivities.
As part of our new range of instore events I wanted to make a blog about our first competitive D&D event.
These events are designed to give players a new type of D&D challenge.
Our first event will take place on the 16th of December and will be challenging teams to delve into Pymaro's dungeon.
However, there is a twist, firstly during the course of the adventure there will be no long rests, so be mindful of your spells. Secondly the adventure will be timed in real time.
In essence the first party to navigate through the dungeons successfully will win, however if no one makes it through before the time is up then the team that made the most progress win. If there's a tie we will take into account surviving party members, loot etc.
The DM's and pre generated characters will be picked by the players at random, though each team will pick from the same set of characters to keep things fair and consistent.
But don't worry we will be giving teams some magic gold coins that can be traded for goods and services with a trader genie that they can summon via a magic ring.
These services can be anything for making a failed skill or an attack a pass, some extra healing or even the chance of getting some spells back. But be warned your coins will be hard to replace.
Tickets are £15.00 each and will give each player a full set of D&D dice and their "edible" gold coins.
The event will start at 5pm and is expected to finish around 10pm.
