Over the last few weeks Games Workshop have been teasing the release of Kill Team and today they have finally announced the long awaited launch date for the Kill Team Octavius Boxset.
Firstly in anticipation for the as the hype for this release has been incredible the pre-order window for Kill Team: Octarius is set to run for two weeks from the 14th to the 28th of August.
This is what I expect to counter the anticipated scalpers and to ensure the right amount of copies are created.
We will be activating our pre order tokens shortly to allow people to register there interest with our allocation been applied on the order that the tokens were claimed.
The tokens are a free digital purchase so its worth grabbing one early if your going to want a copy of the boxset.
Now secondly it was clear from the early trailers that the boxset would have a strong Orkish feel.
So with that in mind we have decided to offer some bundles to our subscribers.
We wanted to find a way to recognise our subscribers so we have decided to produce a special killteam bundle
The bundle will feature a copy of the Killteam Octavius set as well as a Mekboy Workshop which will help bolster up your scenery.
And if you are a platinum subscriber you will also receive an online exclusive Mekboy absolutely free.
We will be releasing the costs of the bundles nearer the pre order date though our usual 20% discount will apply to the Kill team Octavius sets and the price of the Mekboy Workshops will incorporate a 25% discount of the Games Workshop RRP.
We had the idea to offer this incentive when the new set was originally announced so we have already brought a number of these items into stock ahead of the Killteam launch.
However as other stores may follow suit these will be issued on a first come first serve basis.
