Retail Associate

We are looking for two individuals to join our team as retail associates at our new shop based in the Doncaster town centre.

This exciting job role will require the successful applicants to help customers identify and purchase products they desire, while also fulfilling other duties such as selling refreshments, ordering and distributing stock and merchandising.

 In addition, the Associate will assist the game design team by helping with playtesting, design and promotional duties via instore promotions and through social media.

As these roles are part of the UK Kickstart campaign these job roles are only available for applicants up to the ago 18-24.


  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards

  • Maintain a fully stocked store

  • Ascertain customers’ needs and wants

  • Recommend and display items that match customer needs

  • Welcome and greet customers

  • Manage point-of-sale processes

  • Participate in the receiving of new shipments

  • Keep up to date with product information

  • Accurately describe product features and benefits

  • Follow all companies policies and procedure.

In addition we will offer exposure and involvement in the below.

  • Playtesting internal and third party games with customers

  • Promoting our internal projects and in store activities on the social media

  • Assist the design team in game development


  • Proven working experience in retail sales

  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

  • Proficiency in English

  • Track record of over-achieving sales quota

  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills

  • Customer service focus

  • Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality

  • Basic administration skills

  • GCSE grade C in English and Maths

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office and photoshop

  • An interest in tabletop and roleplaying games is desirable


  • 25 hours a week.

  • Shifts will be split over days from Wednesday - Sunday


  • Associate pay will be paid in line with the national minimum wage.
