DonQuest is looking to host several cosplay themed events over the weekend and we are encouraging new and experienced cosplayers to come along and show of your fantasy/scifi/comicbook themed cosplays.
The rules for cosplaying are quite simple, respect each other and cosplayers personal boundaries. We will have a cosplay desk in the cosplay area. Should you feel that either of the above rules has been violated then please report it to them.
Composite Games Limited has a zero tolerance for bullying, body shaming and any form of unwanted physical contact and any found to be guilt of any of the above or similar offences against cosplayers at DonQuest will be removed from the event.
We will be releasing the details of the cosplay competitions later this year.
On of the cosplay events that will be taking part at DonQuest is the filming of Composite Studios "Cosplay and Bullying: Behind the smiles and capes" documentary. This documentary is designed to help introduce people to the cosplay communities and grab a glimpse at the people who are invested in the hobby as well as the things they do for charity as well as covering the negative aspects of the hobby and what people are doing to tackle it.
Over the course of the weekend we will be looking to interview and potentially follow some candidates around the convention as they pose for pictures and meet the guests at the event.
If you would like to be considered to feature in the documentary then please contact us by following the below link.
