Ever since we started to put the project together we always had our eyes on assembling a cast of talented individuals to help bring Sophies story and the setting of the Unseen World to life.
We are extremly proud of our cast and we look forward to sharing their journey with you as we proceed through the development of the first season.
Francesca Louise White - Sophie Madaline
Francesca Louise White is a “small but feisty” actress with a steadily growing resume in film. Demonstrating a passion for acting from an early age and educated to a Bachelor Degree level in Drama at Exeter University.
She travelled across the pond to various acting schools including the AADA in LA. She uses her range of real-world skills and talents across a diverse range of roles, and is professionally qualified to fight on screen by the BADC.
The film industry being where her heart truly resides, she is pursuing a long lasting career among fellow lovers of a good story.
Jenn Day - Jessica Madaline
Jenn Day is a 37 year old actor (actress) living in Nottingham. Jenn also with a base close to London and has appeared on stage, and in film and television productions.
Jenn holds a BA(Hons) Degree in Contemporary Theatre Practice from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now Royal Conservatoire of Scotland).
Jenn has also been deployed as an acting coach by a film production company and has been employed previously as the Head of Drama at a number of Performing Arts Colleges
Christopher Dane - The Man in Grey
Christopher landed his first professional theatre job in the award winning Donmar production of MARY STUART, but since then his love for the screen has taken his career into the British Film Industry.
In 2009 he played Aragorn’s father Arathorn in BORN OF HOPE that has now amassed more than 32 million online views, and he won the Best Actor Award at the London Independent Film Festival 2011 for his acclaimed portrayal of John Foster in the British comedy drama BEING SOLD.
Christopher’s Television credits include the hit BBC drama series CALL THE MIDWIFE, DR WHO and he will appear in Scandinavian drama THE BRIDGE III in 2015.
Becki Lloyd - Hannah Stewart
Becki grew up in Surrey and has been involved in the performing industry from a very young age. She gained a Diploma in Performing Arts at The Centre Performing Arts College in London.
Quite soon into her training which was fairly heavily dance based Becki realised her real passion lied in acting, specifically for screen and she went on to further study an actor training course at BSA Actor Training, London and acting for stage and screen at Capital Screen Arts, London.
Becki has experience is all types of screen work, having been cast in many music videos, worked as a supporting artist and been given speaking roles. She has worked on films sets and television sets, one being BBC for Spooks.
Her most recent role was 'Miriam' in the feature film Castle Boulevard which is currently in post production.
David Castleford- Gerold Fenwich
David has been involved with theatre and acting from the age of seven when he fell off his bike and lost a front tooth and had to take elocution lessons. These developed into poetry and acting lesson where he studied the LAMDA and Guildhall syllabus.
At 18 he went and trained as A primary teacher at Sheffield Hallam specialising in in English and drama where he qualified and began teaching in Doncaster. In his late 20s he rekindled his passion for acting and resumed training at the West Yorkshire Playhouse before moving to supply teaching and joining York based Risky Things Theatre Company.
David made his training official in his midd 30s by training at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and The London Centre for Theatre Studies. Since then his has combined acting in local film and stage with school teaching.
Alex De Luca- Alexander King
Alex De Luca is a professional actor, who took the leap into full time acting in May of 2014.
Since then he has consistently worked in film, TV and theatre on many professional productions. Alex fell in love with the idea of being an actor when he was a young man, after watching Kenneth Branagh perform in Hamlet.
In his efforts in becoming an actor, he studied drama in Doncaster, but on completion of these studies he still felt wanting. So he went to 'The Actors Space' just outside Barcelona to continue learning his craft, and to study the Jaques Lecoq method of acting.
Adam Collins- Jacob de Ferrers
Adam Collins is a 29 years old actor from Nottingham.
Adam is am currently training to qualify for the British stunt register and have been trained to a high level in professional acting, martial arts, screen fighting and stunts.
He has a wealth of experience in films, television and modeling and possess a variety of different skills that include skills such as Helicopter abseiling / fast roping, Amphibious training, Unarmed combat (instructor level), Martial arts and Training in fire arms (high level) of all types, including foreign weapons.
Adams latest action thriller Heart Of Chaos is currently in post production and was directed by Luke Radford. This film was set and filmed in the city of Nottingham.
Megan Gibson - Sabrina (Jilania of La Sephorie)
Megan Gibson is a 23 year old actress from Sheffield, England. She is building credits in short films, theatre, commercials and music videos. Each project brings a different challenge and displays Megan’s versatility.
Megan started following her passion at a young age starting with the National Youth Theatre and taking part in a LAMDA’s ‘Introduction to Screen’ short course. She went on to complete the foundation in acting at the ‘Oxford School of Drama’ and has a BA Hons degree from the University of Leeds in ‘Theatre and Performance’. During her time studying she was a member of the ‘Hungry Bitches’ Theatre company where they performed at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2012/13.
Megan also has a background in dance which helps her approach physical aspects to characters with confidence. She has experience in physical theatre and body combat.
Ben Manning - Raziel
Ben is a Staffordshire born actor who co-founded an improvisational theatre group whilst living in Massachusetts but soon returned to the UK to develop his career.
Theatrical roles have included playing Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights (with dyed black hair), Colin in Alan Ayckborn's Absent Friends, and Frederick Clegg in The Collector.
Ben also regularly performs sword fighting shows around the UK and can soon be seen in upcoming feature films The Snarling (which he also co-produced) and Enter The Cage.
Karl Brown - Talinos the Shade
Karl Brown is an actor and voice over artist from Nottingham. He holds a black belt in Taekwondo, trains as a professional wrestler at the House of Pain, practices yoga, and has experience in screen combat.
Typically cast as either a villain or love interest, Karl puts his acting talent to his improv comedy training.
As a voice over he's narrated several documentaries on the occult, secret societies and strange phenomena - so The Unseen World will feel right at home for him.
Lydia Crawley–Snowdon - Sarah King
Lydia Crawley – Snowdon is 19 years old and although she has no formal training in acting, she has appeared in theatre and musical shows.
This will be her first time screen acting and she hopes this will be a stepping stone to more roles in the industry of voice acting.
Lydia has learnt Italian and speaks a small bit of Latin. She practices performing on stage by attending poetry readings.
Elizabeth Webb - Vanessa Da Haven
Elizabeth’s passion for performing was perhaps first most strikingly apparent when, aged three, she would take it upon herself to re-enact the entirety of Cinderella in her living room.
Since then she has eagerly seized any opportunity to “prance around as someone else for a bit”,
participating in amateur theatre and taking on extras work in music videos and short films.
The Crown of Thorns is her first on-screen speaking role.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth is also tremendously enthusiastic about filmmaking, belonging to the alumni of the regional BFI film academy and being the screenwriter for the short film Ryan’s Choice.
Stella Lock - Celeste Bathory
Stella lock been attending nottingham actors shop for 2 yrs appeared in several short fils, student projects and recently in adrift in soho tobe screened, nationally later this year.
She has also appeared in a tv pilot production also supporting actor to several local film productions.
Stella also recently apprared in a local tv commercial and also co supported a forum theatre group producing local videos for local health authority, winning award for achievement.
