The Composite Gaming System (CGS) is a more advanced version of our Crazy8's rules-lite roleplaying system and allows for highly adaptable games that will appeal to both new players as well as experienced ones.
Composite Gaming System has been designed to allow the players who have started with crazy8's to migrate to a more complex gaming system but feel familiar with the mechanics with the game still focusing on the use of d8's for task resolution. However unlike cracy8's players can progress in their skills to allow them to role up to ten D8's to represent their mastery of their skills and abilities.
The core campaign setting for the Composite Gaming System will be the Chronicles of Ollundra which will feature as Composite Games own in house fantasy roleplaying world. However as the core rules for the Composite Gaming System is designed to be setting neutral, it will allow for a myriad of add-ons and expansions.
As with Crazy8's the Composite Gaming System will allow the Storyteller to craft the worlds they want be it fantasy worlds full of dragons and valorous knights or a world where cutting-edge cybernetic warriors do battle with unspeakable terrors from outside our reality are just two examples of what can be done with the Composite Gaming System.
Unlike with crazy8's the Composite Gaming System will include a more in depth skill and combat system that will players and storytellers to create truly cinematic experiences in their games.
The Composite Gaming System is being developed in partnership with Composite Games Limited and Broken Things.
